This is my 61 Nomad as seen at the movie set of the Cohn Brothers movie ' A Serious Man'. The movie was filmed in the fall of 2008 and came out in October of 2009.
I have had the car for about 4 years. It had been stored for the last 25 years in the originalowners garage until he went to the home. It was very solid and just about as it was when they put it away except for a lot of mice. It now has been completely redone inside and out as original. I replaced the original 283 which did start and run after 25 years of storage with a 350 crate engine and new transmission. The car has been featured in Chevy Classics in June 2009, in the Cohn Brothers movie, and in the Sunday edition of the Mpls. / Star - Tribune car section. People get a kick out of remembering the car their folks or grandparents had.
