The purpose of Gopher State Chevys (GSC) is to unite interested individuals in an organization which can serve as an environment for the exchange of ideas and information in the restoration and preservation of classic Chevrolets. GSC sponsors monthly social events throughout the year, with car cruises being the focus for summer. GSC also sponsors or participates in car shows throughout the year.
Gopher State Chevys (GSC) is a classic car club open to all who have an interest in Chevrolets dating from 1955 thru 1972. GSC serves as the local chapter of Classic Chevy International. Ownership of a 55 thru 72 Chevrolet is not required for membership.
A monthly newsletter, the 'Gopher State Gazzette', keeps members informed of upcoming events. Membership meetings are held the 3rd Thursday evening of the month at selected locations in the Twin Cities metro area as announced in the Club newsletter.
